Queer of color critique is an interdisciplinary academic framework and critical methodology that examines the complex, interwoven oppressions and experiences at the intersections of race, sexuality, gender, class, and nation, challenging dominant norms and producing alternative epistemologies rooted in the lived realities and histories of queer people of color. This approach foregrounds how racialization shapes and is shaped by sexual and gender formations, analyzing power structures and advocating for liberatory possibilities beyond mainstream queer and traditional racial justice frameworks.
